Puppetry 101
Visit with Blueberry, the wandering marionette who has been making his way around Maker Faire Orlando since 2022. See puppets in the building process, and look at (and try!) mechanisms used to control marionettes. Get information about puppet building projects that you can try at home, and see examples of all the different types of puppets around the world to enjoy. Check out a few puppets that you may recognize from your childhood on a certain Street... and be sure to bring along a book for them to look book! Uh-huh!

Tampa Hackerspace Puppetry Guild
This is the budding puppetry branch of Tampa Hackerspace. Paula has been bringing puppets to Maker Faire Orlando for the past two years. She has taught puppetry for Cadet and Junior Girl Scouts, and she is primarily interested in designing and building marionettes from 3D printed figures... but there are many other interesting puppet types out there, too!
