DoD STARBASE Central Florida is part of the nationwide Department of Defense STARBASE youth program that provides 25 hours of innovative STEM education for underrepresented 5th graders and their communities. DoD STARBASE Central Florida was established in 2021 through a contract between the Navy/ Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) and The National Center for Simulation (NCS).
